2018 JUSC Pre-Academy: 7U & 8U Players
JUSC is starting a new optional, supplemental, fee-based program for 7U and 8U (2010 and 2011) birth year boys and girls. At the 2010 and 2011 ages, this initial FUNdamental stage of development for is very important to a player’s overall growth and development as an athlete and soccer player. Using a movement and games approach to learning, the Pre-Academy seeks to develop the physical capabilities of each player, the ABC’s of athleticism, Agility, Balance, Coordination and Speed all while focusing on the ball and enhancing the player’s relationship with it. Players will experience the ball, develop a better feel for it, use different surfaces and attempt to express themselves through the game and the ball. This is a great way to better transition players and coaches for the 9U JUSC Academy for Fall 2018 and beyond.
